Church Links at Seer Green CE School
At Seer Green CE School, we are proud to be a Church of England academy that nurtures a happy and caring community grounded in Christian values. Our close links with local churches enrich the spiritual life of our school and support our vision for all pupils to flourish in an environment filled with honesty, kindness, and perseverance.
Our Church Partnerships
We have strong, supportive relationships with two local churches, which play a vital role in the life of our school community:
Holy Trinity Church
A longstanding partner, Holy Trinity Church is led by Rev Jez Carr, Vicar of Holy Trinity. Their support helps us to embed our Christian vision and values throughout school life. You can learn more about their work and community at holytrinitysgj.org.
Seer Green Baptist Church
Located on Woodpond Close, Seer Green Baptist Church is another key partner. Our Minister and Missional Leader, Louise Gilbertson, works closely with us to provide spiritual guidance and enrich pupil experiences especially in her role as a governor. Working with the Church of England Education Office and Oxford Diocese
Seer Green CE School also collaborates closely with the Church of England Education Office ( https://www.churchofengland.org/about/education-and-schools ) and the Oxford Diocese Board of Education (ODBE odbe.org.uk ). These partnerships ensure that our school’s Christian vision is deeply rooted theologically and supported by expert guidance. They help us maintain high standards in religious education, collective worship, and our overall ethos as a Church school.
