Buckinghamshire Adult Learning provide inclusive learning opportunities to promote wellbeing and inspire people living or working in Buckinghamshire to achieve their potential.
With over 1,500 courses to choose from there is something to suit everyone, from all ages, walks of life and abilities. Whether you’re a beginner or want to improve your skills, gain a long desired qualification or just fancy trying a new hobby they’ve got a course for you.
They are the main provider of part-time learning opportunities for adults in Buckinghamshire, graded ‘good’ by Ofsted in November 2019. A broad programme of taught courses, workshops and online learning is delivered from almost 140 locations across the county including dedicated Adult Learning centres, schools, community and employer premises.
They provide courses for individuals in all aspects of life, work and leisure. This includes literacy, numeracy, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), creative studies, ICT, health and fitness, languages, home improvements and gardening. Courses are available daytime, evening and weekends for most of the year.
